I cannot let this day end without writing something about it.

Looking back at the past year I can say that it had been good; actually it has been great.

I've gone to many places this year and got to experience the beauty of each of the place I ever been to. I am forever grateful to Bubuy for helping me capture these wonderful moments :) And speaking of Bubuy, shempre this is the year I bought him in Greenhills and is still paying for it (hehehe)

I've had a lot of ups and downs. Down being me, turing 27. Aaaaaagrh!

Sabi ko dati 2008 is my year -- well, in a way yeah it was. I'm going to say it again. 2009 is my year. Promise yan. hehehe Friends?! Tignan nio lang... =P

Well, I literally went last minute Christmas shopping last 24th December. hihihi And while I was looking for the perfect gifts for every one that day I saw the one for me... no it was not Rafael Rosell whom I saw there at the Adidas store too, but the perfect pair of shoes that I want... sana makahabol pa sa pasko so kung sino man ang gusto magbigay sakin nito I promise I will love you for the rest of my life!!! hahaha

Only, I can't find the color I wanted on the Adidas website, that shoe right there is supposed to be loud pink in color; it's called the Women's Menari by Stella Mc Cartney.

NINA Sings Diane Warren Hits

So I was out of the office for five days baby!!! 2 restdays and 3, well let's just say vacation. hahahaha *wink wink* And what did I do? Hmmm, well a whole lot of sleeping and tv and moping around. But at least I got the chance to see my parents and sibs during the weekend and took some photos of them playing paintball which I'm going to post right after I am done with a gazillion of emails I missed those 5 days. And shempre I went malling with Mai in Makati. And I bought the latest NINA CD!!!!!!! Walang kokontra please.

I super love her! hihihi And the songs too! When I got home that night I played it right away ang sang my heart out! Paki ko sa neigbors! hahahaha And on Saturday I'm watching her (YES! AGAIN.) at the Hard Rock Cafe in Makati!

Moved Out!

I have moved out of my parents' house (yeah, again!) last Sunday and I'm now living somewhere in Mandaluyong, oo sa loob, Ward 54. hehehe

My room is soooo bare at the moment since wala naman akong mashadong gamit but I plan to furnish and interior decorate it. Wish ko lang magawa ko nga. For now this is how my room looks like from it's 4 corners.

I know, I know ang kalat. ehhehe I haven't unpack my clothes yet. Nasa kahon pa. Anyway nakakatamad pa kasi kulang-kulang yung mga gamit ko. I have a very long list of things to buy for my room. Hay. Gastos na naman. Pero ok lang. Basta iisa-isahin ko till mabili ko silang lahat.

Funny thing is, hindi naman kami nagkikita ni El (my housemate). Not since last Sunday when I first moved in. Kasi naman pagdating ko ng house after work, nakapasok na sila ni Ana.

So there, so far I'm enjoying though I miss my mom. Inferness. hahahaha

Strike Two!!!

I just got home from work and I just need to blog about this before I hit the bed!!! hehehe

OMG.

Let's start from the very beginning. hahaha

About three weeks ago, it was a Monday night, I was going to work - nagpa-gas ako ng Php500. Without thinking, I paid everything I had. Needless to say hindi ako nagtira ng pang toll gate!!!! Narealize ko sha nakapila na 'ko sa Coastal Rd toll gate. huhuhu Nakakahiya. All I have left at that time was a dollar. PROMISE. Kasi that was the first night I reported back from work galing US. Grabe ang habang paliwanagan pero ang ending pumayag na kunin yung $1. hehehe Thanks Manong!!!

Tapos....

Naulit sha this morning!!! Sabi nga ng daddy ko ang swerte ko kasi hindi basta-basta pumapayag yung mga kumag dun sa toll gate na walang iniiwan. Kasi ngayon naman eh, naiwan ko yung wallet ko sa Jollibee sa office. Todo na ang pagpapacute ko kay Manong this time kasi Php5 lang yung barya sa car. Waaaaaaaaah. Gusto nia iwan ko yung tools ng sasakyan --- haller?! Ayoko nga noh, para sa Php18??! Fine. It's my fault pero wala lang, abala yun eh. hihihi Anyway I got away with it so there.

Musings of a 26 year old (hehehe)

I recently had talked to one of my closest friends, Ten. And it's only then that I realized that at this time of my life, everything seems to be the way I want everything to be. I know I might have mentioned that I am not happy - but what is happiness? Really? Now that I am about to turn a year older I need to focus my energy on some important things in my life - no, make that lovelife. hahaha

But then there's still a lot of not-so-good things that are happening especially at home but I'm glad it's now a bit better than the last few weeks. I just hope and pray that everything will work out between me and my entire family. I hope they know that I love them to bits. Hay. This blog was supposed to be about me and my realization. Sa ibang blog na lang yun. hehehe

Moving on, as I was saying... (hehe) I'm happy to say that I am doing good so far. I deserve this and so I am enjoying it. I guess I'm lucky that I am surrounded by people who loves me and who keeps me sane. People! You know who you are.

I don't know what might happen in the next half year but I'm pretty sure it's going to be interesting. Fine, I'll let go of the I'm-already-27-I'm-so-old-and-unfullfilled drama that I have going on and just live my life one day at a time.

Well, may istorya yan - tonight, Marcela, myself and her friends, Carrie and Luis decided to have a chill out night and we went to Barnes and Noble dapat to catch up on our Tom Cruise and Katie gossip pero natanga ako sa laki ng place as in ang daming books and I've come across the self-improvement section na I think meron na ko nung karamihan. hahaha I even read the self-help book for Bridesmaids. hehehe But I read this one more, kasi easy read sha chaka it's realistic. Basta title pa lang akong-ako na. Hehehe

So it's almost midnight here. I'm still up. Oh well so much for getting more sleep this week. It's just that I can touch my phone anymore because I'm at P5200 now and I've the phone for just a week!!! hehehe I should've listened to Jemai. Dang!

Umuulan pa ng malakas ngayon todo na ang mga warning ng tornados at flash flood nakakapraning. Super. But thank God we're fine here so don't worry.

In the City

Hello people!!! Guess where I'm at? hehehe Kahit ako hindi makapaniwala. I'm in NYC baby!!! Oh well, so many things to do but seriosly, so liiiitle time. Sayang I'm only here for less than two days lang and shempre bitin. Hay. Oh well but I'm still thankful though. Nakita ko si Mia dahil 3 years ko na yun hindi nakita. My Aunt Nene and Kuya Robert whom I've never met ever and My Tito Jim and Eddie and my ever dearest Lola whom I've never seen for 13 years!!! I'm so happy to see all of them. Masaya tumira dito inferness. Wag na kaya akong umuwi? ahahaha Joke lang.

I arrived yesterday at exactly 11am EST and my aunt and kuya picked me up. They drove me around Manhattan and catched up. I love this place more than Dallas, no offense. hahaha Well except for LAN Support which is obviously not anywhere here in NY.hehehe Anyway, so I've seen some places and of course took pictures. Nice weather by the way! Ang swerte ko nga daw kasi maganda ang weather. Totoo. Mas tolerable yung lamig plus may araw so there. Gala-gala. My aunt take me to her store down at the Chelsea Ave. Nice. When we got there I met her hubby, Uncle Pete who's a photographer! So we talked a lot about photography and cameras and stuff. Sayang talaga hindi ako magtatagal.

Then we went to this place where there's a lot of Filipino restaurants and bought some Filipino food. Lerka, ang mahal ng Lucky me pancit canton dito ha, $2.00 isa haller. hahahah Kung alam ko lang na mahilig sila sa ganun nagdala ako at nagbenta. Anyway, we arrived in their place around 2.30pm na and stayed saglit till 4.00pm. Tapos I met with Mia na! It's nice to see an old friend. She's like our highschool bestfriend and seeing her in a foreign country is such a beautiful thing. Nakakapanlait kami in tagalog habang sinusuyod ang buong Manhattan. And when I say sinusuyod, I mean literally walking from one block to the other. We started at 32nd ave and ended in 60th!!! hahahaha Hindi na namin napansin ang oras at pagod. I took some pictures shempre kaso night version ngayon. I have no time to ramdam my pagod last night hehehe. We walked around and been to shempre those places any NY tourist would want to go to, except for Empire State building kasi sarado na sha for tourist sa gabi. I think we ate dinner 11.00pm na. Kakalakad. unfortunately wala kami mashadong picture together at alam nio naman si bubuy kung gano kabigat. ehehe plus most pictures don't include me on it. Oh well.

Balak ko, maaga ako gigising today kasi I'm leaving din mamayang gabi, uwe na ko sa Dallas (syet). But noooooo 2.30ish pm na ko nagising with a splitting head and body ahce! I swear I feel swollen and tired!!! Non-stop ako since the time I got to the US. And then tomorrow I got to work again. Haaaay. Hindi na ko napashal ng Manhattan to see it during daytime. Oh well may next time pa naman (SANAAAAAAAA).

I'm all packed now and ready to go in a couple of hours. I'm gonna miss this place.

First Friday Night in the Lone Star State

OMG! I can't believe that I'm going to NYC!!! Well, actually may sakit talaga ako ngayon. I have colds and my right foot is acting up eversince lunch... maybe it's the tuna sandwich I had at Pot Belly. Man, those sandwiches are gooooood. Promises. Well ayun na nga so there. I was told by every single person to take meds na kasi nga naman first weekend ko dito sa US tapos may sakit ako. It's just that it's really freakin' cold here. Natatawa sa 'kin mga boss ko kasi the weather daw is nice pa, well sabi ko try living in the Philippines and you'll get what I'm sayin! Or lamigin lang talaga ko. Plus eversince I got super sick last Novemeber, my immune system has just been low, low. Hay.

So anyway, it's my first Friday night here and I'm in the hotel doing absolutely nothing. I'm watching TV while writing on here and chatting with whoever says hi to me in YM. I haven't even packed yet. hahaha And my shuttle will pick me up in like 7 hours! Oh well, later na yun. I was supposed to watch a concert with Marcela and her two other friends, Luis and Carrie. But then I felt that I needed to rest because my foot is really starting to grow big again... stupid gout attacks! Grrrr. Plus hectic sa office. Inferness MJ was telling me na lax lang daw and I wouldn't feel like workong but noooooo. Maybe because when he went here hindi naman sha nagtraining, eh well implementation account pa 'tong training here so apart from the training we have to attend all these meetings and meet people and stuff. Sobrang hectic din talaga. Hay so this is my chance to get away from it all and spend time with my family in NY and see my highschool friend, MIA!!!!

We talked on the phone pala kanina and it's so weird na we just have an hour difference from each other. But it feels nice. Dang! I only have less than two days in NY. Pero ok na rin at least I can go there and take pictures!!!!! OMGosh. Nagtataka siguro kayo kung bakit ala pa din akong pinopost na pictures. Kasi naman nahihiya akong ilabas dahil super mukha akong turista hahahaha Plus I stay in the training room the whole day I don't have time. Pero basta one of these days magpipicture ako sa office. We have a nice office here in full ferness. Chaka si CRAS pipicturan ko promises. I need time lang. hahahaha

Oh well, I hope makarating ako dun ng matiwasay. :P Wish me luck.

It's a nice hotel. Not so shabby though, or maybe nageexpect lang ako ng todo-todo. hahaha I mean I've been to a few hotels back home and Shang is one of the best, not that I stayed there or anything but I had the chance to see it, and boy it was beautiful. Well Radisson is good too but not as good as I thought it would be. hehehe Oh well. Here are some pictures of the hotel and my room. It is sooo hard to upload pictures and I hate it! Kainis. hehehe Oh well, I don't even have that many pictures since pagod pa ko from byahe tapos bigat ng camera ko. hahaha Tapos late na ko kanina sa training class ko naiwan ko good grief! Oh well babawi ako. hehehe

So far, so good. People in the PFS office are nice to me. And so are the people here at the hotel too. I haven't been out that much pero I'm planning to do a lot of good stuff here. Marcela and Erik are the ones who makes the plans for me and man they love to eat! So lahat ng na-lose ko (na hindi naman karamihan... hahahaha) are gained again -- I think. Here's my first meal when I arrived yesterday! Yummmmm.

It's a chicken burrito with mild and medium chili, cheese and corn. I had to ask to put it in a bowl coz I know I would have a hard time eating it. hahaha It's one Marcela's favorite Mexican restaurants here and believe me, she has a loooooot! Saraaaaaap. Kaso hindi ko naubos sa dami. hahaha

Then after eating we met up with her friends, Bellina and Ashton because they wanted to check out this house they are planning to buy. I took a few pictures of it, well actually I took pictures of the surroundings and a lil bit of the interior and not the house mismo. hehehe here they are...

Those pictures are taken around 7:00PM imagine that. Ang liwanag pa rin. hehehe Nakakaloka. Oh well, it was nice. Ang ganda noh? Hay I wish I can buy my own house like this someday. And by the looks of the pictures I know you can tell that it has a good neighborhood. Very homey. Then after going here, Marcela took me to WALMART!!! hahaha I mean I know my US trip isn't complete without a trip to walmart so there. We went grocery shopping and over spent on sweets and stuff. hahaha Marcela took a picture of me looking very, very tired. hahaha so eeeew.

Not so fab, a few hours off the plane, no shower no nothing! hahaha kadiri. And I don't know if you can tell pero jusko mamamatay na ko sa lamig nian. PROMISE. hahaha And what's more obvious is that ang negra negra ko na naman. hahahaha

Hay nako. Cheesy na kung cheesy. Pero I watched Sam Milby and Toni Gonzaga's new flick!!! And for me it was AMAZING! I swear. I enjoyed watching the movie. Ang pogiiiiiiiiii pa ni Sam. Haaaaay. I never win contests, well I do it's just that I don't get the 1st prize or grand prize ever, in like - my entire life. When my teacher in the 3rd grade joined me in a singing contest I only got the 3rd prize, and there were 3 contestants! hahahaha I know. Then in the 4th grade I joined an essay writing contest about "books" and I won 2nd prize, to my dismay a 3rd grader at that time out smart me and won the 1st prize (kainis diber?! hehehe) But this all changed last February 1st! hahahaha I bagged the P1000 prize for best costume for our office PAJAMA PARTY theme. hehehehe
